Social and Community Regeneration
In order to build sustainable communities, it is vital that the physical, economic and the social aspects of regeneration come together. The impact of regeneration programmes must include positive outcomes for people. Government policy is increasingly focused on key issues such as social inclusion, wellbeing and equality, which are moving up the regeneration agenda and present an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people in disadvantaged communities.
GENECON brings considerable experience and expertise of advising and evaluating a range of social, community and neighbourhood regeneration programmes, across funding streams such as the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, Single Regeneration Budget, and European Regional Development Funding. We are also expert in working with physical regeneration agencies to identify how the outcomes and impacts of their investments can be used to benefit communities, and to maximize that impact for the greater good.
