Strategic Facilitation and Advocacy
Regeneration strategies and projects invariably involve a diverse range of interests. At key stages in strategy and project development, stakeholder events and workshops can help to resolve potential conflicts and maximise the benefits of collaboration. Successful delivery also requires strong advocacy and clear communication of ideas and supporting analysis.
GENECON’s partners regularly act as independent facilitators to run strategy and project workshops to help to secure consensus on strategic direction, unlock delivery barriers and to provide external challenge to improve project/programme effectiveness. Recent engagements have related to urban renaissance plans, sub-regional strategies and regional development projects. We also provide strategy and project advocacy support and act as expert witnesses to support legal processes associated with planning and regeneration issues.
We are also leading the development of Regeneration Academies in key local authorities.
