Mark Reynolds

Mark Reynolds is a Partner of GENECON LLP. He is a chartered development surveyor and chartered town planner and has worked throughout the UK in economic development and regeneration since 1991. Mark is a lead GENECON adviser on major project appraisal, rural and urban regeneration and economic strategy development, policy evaluation, economic analysis and business planning.
Mark leads high profile projects for national and regional Government agencies and is a retained adviser to several agencies on economic appraisal and economic development issues. He has worked on many projects related to regional and national policy initiatives such as the National Coalfields Programme, Yorkshire Forward’s Renaissance Market Towns programme, affordable housing and the establishment of sub–regional delivery partnerships. Mark is currently leading the appraisal of several high profile national and regional flagship projects, for URCs and English Partnerships.
In addition to Mark’s physical regeneration work, he leads projects supporting community and public sector partnerships in establishing delivery structures and progressing projects. This includes advising on funding issues and the preparation of business plans for projects including workspace initiatives and other community facilities. Mark also leads GENECON’s work on policy and project evaluation, which has included assessment of key sub-regional initiatives, addressing issues such as rural deprivation and affordable housing.
