Josh Stott

Josh
Stott is a chartered surveyor, a graduate of the London School of
Economics and has an MSc in property investment and development.
Josh previously worked within a niche general practice surveying firm in central London and subsequently moved to a leading agency in the North of England. Josh’s broad range of experience in property investment and management brings specialist property market knowledge and understanding to the team.
Josh joined GENECON as a consultant in 2004 and has assisted the partners in the delivery of a wide range of projects. As a senior consultant Josh now plays a lead role in project delivery and client liaison. Josh has a comprehensive understanding of the Green Book appraisal process and specifically focuses on appraisals of complex property development proposals. He has worked on a number of high profile projects at both regional and national levels and has extensive experience of working with English Partnerships, Regional Development Agencies and local authorities.
As part of his MSc, Josh researched local economic development governance arrangements and specifically, the potential role of City Development Companies. Josh has developed this knowledge working on a range of projects advising public sector clients on the development of Special Purpose Vehicles, governance structures and delivery mechanisms at city, city-regional and sub-regional levels.
