meetings.
We prefer a first degree in economics, surveying, geography or
town & country planning and demonstration of a clear interest
in working in our specialist fields, preferably including
post-graduate study or relevant professional qualification. A
strong academic track record, good IT skills and well developed
research and analytical capabilities are essential as well as good
inter-personal skills, confident written and verbal communications
skills, and new work winning potential

GENECON is currently seeking to appoint a Research Consultant to
support the senior team across a range of projects. We are growing
our work with Local Authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships
as well as with private sector clients and the successful candidate
will have the opportunity to work directly to GENECON Partners
and Senior Consultants across our client portfolio. The
ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the analysis
and presentation of key socio-economic data sets applicable to
assessing place economics. A background in economic
consultancy or public sector economic development would be
preferred but applicants from other backgrounds with relevant
research experience would certainly be considered.
